Background and purpose: In today's world, traffic has become most important and complex issues, which is still serious challenge in developed and developing countries. Youth traffic education has become important concerns of countries, and taking measures to improve youth traffic knowledge teach them safe driving particular importance. Therefore, the main goal of the research design a model improving the traffic knowledge of youth
Method: The purpose of this research is to apply a mixed method of exploratory type. qualitative part, exploratory interview with experts and professors Faculty of Traffic Sciences Traffic Engineering of University Police Training, by purposive sampling method, continued until reaching theoretical saturation review collected data. It was collected using content analysis method and MaxQuda 2020 software, structural equation modeling validate the model qualitative part. The statistical population quantitative part includes the experts vice social traffic culture department and training education department of the Faraja traffic police headquarters traffic police education and culture departments country, totaling 78 people were selected purpose data analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis used using SmartPLS3 software.
Findings: Also, in the quantitative part, the greatest effect of the traffic knowledge improvement model of youth between 15 and 18 years old related to the main categories education with a value of 13.153, social participation with a value of 10.030, parents with a value of 9.674 and least effect related to the main category legislation with a value of 198 8/ In the model of promoting traffic knowledge, youths are between 15 and 18 years old.
