Abstract
Background and Aim: The purpose of this research was to investigate the situation of organizational mobbing (psychological terror) in physical education teachers in West Azerbaijan province.
Methods: This research is practical in terms of approach; And in terms of the method of data collection, it is a descriptive-survey type of research. The statistical population of the research consists of all physical education teachers of West Azerbaijan province. The sampling method is a stratified cluster random method, according to Cochran's formula, 301 people were selected as a sample. The tool of data collection in this section was a researcher-made questionnaire. Questionnaire validity using content validity, and construct validity; And its reliability was obtained by using Cronbach's alpha calculation method, 94%. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, T and F tests in Spss.vs.20 software platform.
Results: The results of the research showed that the level of exposure of teachers to mobbing is significant according to gender, marital status, school type, and city location. However, the level of exposure of teachers to mobbing was not significant according to the variable of organizational service, age, degree, teacher rank, field of study, experience, and teaching level.
Conclusion: Psychological terror exists and happens among teachers. Therefore, the results of this research can serve as a guide for human resource planners, especially educational managers to identify and recognize disruptive behaviors in the work environment, to recognize how to deal with and manage the phenomenon of mobbing, and to reduce its effects, and take effective measures.
