Abstract
Background and Aims: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between personality types with spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence in student.
Method: The research method was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of data collection. The statistical population of this study was 12790 students of Islamic Azad University of Gorgan in 1300-1400. Sample size Using Krejcie and Morgan table, 373 people were selected by available random sampling method. Data collection tools were standard questionnaires of Aniagram (1993) personality type, Bar-Ann emotional intelligence (1980), Stevens’s spiritual intelligence (1996). Descriptive statistics (frequency, frequency percentage and mean) and inferential statistics (one-way analysis of variance) were used to analyze the data.
Findings: The results showed that, considering the confidence coefficient of 0.95 and the significance level of the MANOVA test (0.000), which is less than the default value (0.05) (sig<0.05); the null hypothesis (equality of the mean of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in personality types) is rejected and the opposite hypothesis (non-equality of the mean of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in personality types) is accepted. In other words, there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in personality types.
Conclusion: Personality traits provide a stable framework for how we process information, control emotions, communicate with others, and make sense of life experiences. People who are more flexible, sociable, and responsible tend to have stronger emotional skills. These traits also provide a foundation for the development of spiritual dimensions. Therefore, it is natural to see a harmonious relationship between these components.
