The relationship between attachment to God and anger control and emotional adjustment

Abstract
Background and Aims: The present study was conducted to determine the relationship between attachment to God, anger control, and emotional adjustment of teachers.
Method: This research Method was a descriptive study with a correlational design. The statistical population included all elementary school teachers in Bandpey East, 230 people. Based on the Krejci and Morgan (1972) table, 140 teachers were selected through simple random sampling method based on the list available in education and responded to questionnaires on attachment to God (Beck and McDonald, 2006), anger control (Hajati, Akbarzadeh, and Khosravi), and emotional adjustment (Farahbakhsh, 2011). Data were analyzed using SPSS.V.26 software.
Findings: The results of Pearson's correlation coefficient showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between attachment to God and anger control, and a positive and significant relationship was also observed between attachment to God and emotional adjustment.
Conclusion: Attachment to God can act as a source of psychological and emotional support and play an important role in promoting mental health and emotional balance in individuals. The results of the study also show that strengthening spiritual components and inner connection with God can lead to increased emotional resilience, reduced maladaptive emotional reactions, and improved emotional adjustment in individuals.
